Storms move in a circle, 2021

🌬️ 'recursion (lilliput edition)' at fitzroy st tiny art gallery ✨ 'Recursion: Lilliput Edition' is now on view at @fitzroysttinyartgallery in Charlottetown! 'Recursion: Lilliput Edition' is a miniature iteration of my silk panels that are currently on view at Eptek Art & Culture Centre (until Nov 13 as part of 'Surface Tension'). This tinier version is made from leftovers/cutoffs from the original, and is heading to the @fitzroysttinyartgallery tomorrow! 🪡✨ 🗓️ Drop into the Eptek gallery on Sunday afternoon (Nov 6) to chat with us (Nancy, Maggie, and Jane) and see us at work! Had a great time stitching and scheming with @perrywinkle.cole and @janewhittenbasketry at our 'sit-in' at Eptek last week – and looking forward to doing it again this weekend! We'll be back at the Eptek gallery on Sunday afternoon from 1-3pm, working away – pop in for a chat! Nancy Cole, Jane Whitten, and I will be on site at Eptek Art & Culture Centre TOMORROW (Tuesday October 25th) from 10:30am-12:30pm working away on some of our works! It's a great opportunity to come check out our exhibit, Surface Tension, and have a chat with us about our work! Do drop in if you can/are in the neighbourhood! Sometimes things just line up! 👁️‍🗨️ SURFACE TENSION is now on view at the Eptek Art & Culture Centre in Summerside until November 9th. We are excited to share this latest iteration, with some new additions! Ever the figure of ongoing becoming — 'Recursion, cont.' got some extra length and a few strategically placed sinkers today. The latest iteration of SURFACE TENSION is on view at the Eptek Art & Culture Centre (Summerside) until November 9! Only a few more days left to see SURFACE TENSION at the Hilda Woolnough Gallery at @theguildpei in Charlottetown, featuring (non-)traditional textile works from three Epekwitk/Prince Edward Island–based artists. SURFACE TENSION is up!!! On behalf of the three of us (myself, @janewhittenbasketry, and @perrywinkle.cole), I want to give an appreciative shout-out to Lloyd at The Guild (pictured here hanging my work, 'Recursion, cont.'), who made our install such a total breeze yesterday and expertly helped us to get the lights (and shadows!) juuuust right. 🙌🏻 Entwined II (Double wedding ring) on silk habotai.
